Many look at the dominant culture with an eye of amazement and affection, with a desire to be connected in some way and often to an extent that it is feared faith will be torn from their hearts because of their inclination. However, the Muslim is a person of purpose. A Muslim feels compassion and mercy towards others, and a desire to want that which is good and wholesome for them.[i]This governs the Muslim’s dispersal into society and defines their conduct in the wider world.
